108 DIY Scratch Image Tickets for Kids
This activity proves to be wonderful both in the way it captivates children and in the entire process they can follow from start to finish. It also promotes the development of their fine motor skills, preparing them for writing, while enriching their language in a playful manner.
Indeed, handling the coin involves a tripod grip, indirectly preparing for pencil holding, and the repetitive work will strengthen the children's hand, thoroughly preparing them for writing.
The carefully chosen images will open up discussions for young children. —> I have made a selection of 108 images categorized as follows: Funny Animals, Endangered Animals, Space, Dinosaurs, Fortresses, Emotions, Insects, Common Flowers, World Landscapes.
I have reduced the size of the tickets, making them accessible for the youngest children.
Execution:
Once the cards are used, you can simply rinse them with water and let them dry to repaint them for the next activity.
Recipe: 2 tablespoons of dish soap. 2 tablespoons of gouache. 1/2 tablespoon of acrylic (acrylic will prevent small details from becoming too dusty, but gouache alone works just fine). Be cautious, the more acrylic you add, the harder it becomes to scratch.
I chose a silver color, but it works equally well with other colors, with black being the most opaque.
